Chit-Chat Chomp?

Hi, my name is Tara. I am a speech-language pathologist going on 6 years of experience. I received my Masters of Science from Baylor University and since then, I have had wonderful opportunities to grow in the world of speech and feeding therapy. My externship during school was completed at Texas Children’s Hospital in Katy, Texas. From there I moved to Austin and worked in pediatric home health. When the covid pandemic struck I moved closer to family, back home to Dallas and worked for a small pediatric out-patient clinic. Wanting to hone my skills and expand my knowledge, I began taking on contracts as a travel therapist around Texas. I worked at various outpatient clinics seeing clients across the spectrum of services with a vast range of needs and finished my traveling therapist era within the public school system in Mansfield, TX. I am beyond blessed to be in this industry and to have had the opportunities to work with so many different types of needs with an array of other therapists, specialists, and professionals. My over-all goal in life is to work myself out of a job - speech and feeding therapy shouldn’t be forever, so let’s meet goals together!
